Job Summary

The Web Services Sales Agent will be responsible for generating leads, pitching web-related services, and closing deals with potential clients. The ideal candidate will understand web development, design, and hosting services and be skilled in sales strategies. They will promote services such as web development, web design, web redesign, website maintenance, page speed optimization, domain name registration, and shared hosting. This role requires someone with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  1. Bachelorโ€™s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  2. Web development/design certifications or courses are a plus but not mandatory.

Experience

  1. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within web services, IT services, or software solutions.
  2. Demonstrated experience in selling web development, design, hosting, or digital marketing services.
  3. Experience with CRM systems and maintaining client data.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, web hosting services, SEO, etc.).
  2. Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Familiarity with domain registration processes, shared hosting, and website optimization strategies.
  5. Ability to present technical services in a non-technical manner to potential clients.
  6. Competent in using digital tools such as email marketing platforms, CRM, and social media for lead generation.
